Senior Financial Reporting Analyst (Temp)

Our client is seeking a temporary Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team and perform day-to-day general accounting and financial reporting duties. You will play a crucial role in the financial planning and analysis of their business. Duties include collecting and analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, preparing entries, and maintaining financial records.

The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree and 5 years of financial reporting/accounting experience.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$58 to $64 an hour

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and resolve accounting issues.
• Analyze external financial and regulatory reports.
• Prepare entries, maintain records, and perform monthly closing accrual calculations. 
• Update proper documentation and internal procedures.
• Collect data and prepare financial reports and surveys.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports to management.
• Assist with software conversions and implementations.
• Participate in special projects in support of the Company's strategic initiatives to improve performance and enhance shareholder value.
• Assist with quarterly reviews, annual financial statement and benefit plan audits, and periodic examinations.
• Perform variance analysis, prepare account reconciliations, and assist with research and resolution of accounting issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of financial reporting/accounting experience required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work in a fast-[aced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
