We are looking for a Data Analyst, with Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems, to assist with data management for the launch of a new program at a large local company. This position will be an ongoing contract which has the opportunity to extend every 6 months.
As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights. Your expertise in Python programming will be crucial in developing efficient data pipelines, creating advanced visualizations, and contributing to data-driven strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Python and other relevant tools.
- Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data into formats suitable for analysis.
- Perform advanced data analysis, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Create compelling visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Monitor data quality and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems.
- Two years prior experience in data analysis.
- Solid understanding of data querying languages (SQL) and database systems.
- Experience with data reporting software like Tableau or SAS highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and statistical packages.
- Strong proficiency in math, web analytics, and business research tools.
- Possess strong analytical skills with strong theoretical and research proficiencies.
- Possess strong organizational and communications (written, verbal, interpersonal) skills.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
- Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
