A well-known local distribution company is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team and perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmLocation

$18 to $20 an hourResponsibilities
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
- Process all vendor invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Process accounts and incoming payments.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
- Monthly expense accruals and reconciliations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong data entry skills.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
