Waiting to take the next step up in the restaurant industry? Our client is running a busy Japanese restaurant in the heart of Waikiki and needs a Restaurant Manager to keep business booming.  

This restaurant is located in a popular and busy spot, so you must be available to respond to high levels of demand. We are in search of someone who is great at delegating tasks and always attentive to what is going on around them. You should have a combination of strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.


Oahu: Honolulu

$50,000 to $60,000 Yearly

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, discipline, and supervise all restaurant employees
  • Review menu offerings for quality and presentation
  • Coordinate staff schedules to ensure proper shift coverage
  • Oversee stock levels and reorder supplies/equipment as needed
  • Maintain relationships with all food vendors and suppliers
  • Tend to any customer complaints or questions
  • Ensure the restaurant is operating within all applicable food, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Perform other duties as operations demand

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Must have previous management experience in restaurant setting
  • Understands the importance of clear and effective communication in management
  • People person who can work well everyone from employees and management to customers and vendors
  • Able to effortlessly coordinate many ongoing and moving parts
  • Ability to speak Japanese is preferred but not required
