Description:

A restaurant in Kailua-Kona is looking for a hands-on Steward/Dishwasher Supervisor to join their team.This position will oversee the staff responsible for cleaning dishes, service ware, and equipment. The Supervisor will also maintain a close inventory and purchase all necessary equipment.

Pay:
$20.00 Hourly

Additional Responsibilities:

Supervise a staff of up to 8 employees
Train and coach new employees and existing staff
Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all staff according to departmental standards
Maintain an accurate inventory of all service equipment
Purchase equipment and schedule any necessary equipment maintenance work
Assist manager with time off requests to ensure all shifts are covered
Perform other tasks as needed

Required Education and Qualifications:

No experience needed, must have willingness to get trained
Must be available to work any day of the week
Valid drivers license preferred (for occasional transport of food or equipment)
Ability to operate industrial machinery and lift up to 75lbs. with assistance
Good supervisory skills
