Our hourly service rate includes the employee’s pay, workers’ comp, Hawai‘i TDI, Federal and State Unemployment Insurance, employer taxes, employee health insurance, and all employer related accounting and reporting requirements.

Yes. Our guarantee for temporary services is simple: We don’t bill you for any unsatisfactory hours worked by our employees. We feel strongly about making sure our customers are happy with the work performed by ALTRES temporary employees. You have no financial risk of non-productivity when using ALTRES temporary services.

With the exception of our ALTRES Medical Staffing division, we offer two options you can choose from in order to hire our employees—Temp-to-hire and Direct Hire. Please ask your ALTRES representative to review the specifics of those plans.

Our work week period is Sunday through Saturday. If our employee works at your company for more than forty (40) hours during our work week period, the hours over forty (40) will be billed at the overtime rate, which is 1.5 times the regular rate.
The ALTRES employee that was assigned to your order is chosen based on the requirements you provided to us. If the job requirements and duties change, please call our offi ce. We will inform you if the person currently at your site is qualifi ed to perform the new job duties.
If you need to cancel an order, please call our offi ce at least 2 hours before the order start time otherwise you will be charged 2 hours
per employee.

If the job was completed earlier than expected and as long as you utilized the temporary employee for at least 4 hours that day, you may end them early.

If you have a night or weekend order, please call our office during normal business hours. We have after hour staff available to service our clients if emergencies arise. Hours vary from location to location.
Our employees will arrive at your worksite with an ALTRES time card. Upon completion of the job, please verify the hours they worked, sign the time card, take the back copy for yourself, and return the rest to our employee. ALTRES employees are paid every Friday. You will receive your invoice the following week detailing the order information, hours worked, and total amount due.

Temp-to-Hire

Minimize your risk by trying out a candidate before you hire. Our Temp-to-Hire plan allows you to monitor a candidate’s performance and on-the-job skills before making a final hiring decision.

Direct Hire

Save time and avoid bad hires with our Direct Hire Plan. Under this plan, you may hire one of our pre-screened, qualified candidates. Best part, we offer a 100-calendar day guarantee for all direct hires.​

Payrolling

If you’ve found a candidate on your own but aren’t ready to put them on your payroll or have an entire team that’d you like us to employ, then our Payrolling Plan is for you. While you manage the employee’s workplace responsibilities, we administer the payroll, workers’ compensation, state and federal employment taxes, and unemployment, TDI, and health insurance.​
